Who is she?

Jordan Olivia Outland: Saint Augustine , Florida, United States; While creating art at Flagler, I have been focusing on the theme of perception. I am very intrigued with pieces of art that are immensely colorful, can be touched, and have an element which the viewer can see through the piece, a lens, or some type of filter altering how you view the piece entirely. I like working in organized mass chaos, I don't like going into a project with a direct plan, I enjoy becoming flexible and using materials I find or have on hand. My goal is to be able to send the viewer into a state of reflection, mirroring what I see and feel while creating the piece and translating, mirroring a world of musical fantasies. I want to create art that invites the exploration of one's senses, other than a piece that is too fragile to be interactive. My goal is to be apart of the Art Therapy movement and be able to use art as a healing tool, transitioning away from the tradition thinking that art isn't supposed to be touched or changed.
