Quick challenge inspiration

    I have always taken a lot of my artist inspiration from events that shaped me when I was a child. I learned a lot of my art skills and preferences though experimentations and just getting messy with my grandparents on my dad side. For my multiple panel, I want to continue my exploration of perception, inviting new and old techniques and applications from my childhood, unlocking new portals through the windows and doors of the soul.

    I found this piece of sketchbook paper in a folder that both of my sisters doodled on. For this quick challenge I added my own layer of doodles on top as all of us love to draw and we have such a large age difference; With my youngest sister being six now and my second youngest is sixteen and I am twenty years old. I really enjoyed how playful this piece was, I added a spiral for my own little touch and the strawberry to continue the fruit theme. I created the tree to add an additional color to the whole piece and gave the orange "woman" I pictured out of my youngest sisters drawing, some accessories made from nature. Finally, I added a curtain layer to create a theatrical feel as I felt this piece was very innocent and had a musical aspect.
